We now recycle:
- Small household batteries (common sizes A, B, C and 9Volt are all accepted)
- Glasses (both prescription and sun) these are sent to an organization in Queensland who refurbish and distribute them to those less fortunate both within Australia and overseas
- Printer cartridges
- Mobile Phones (these are sent to the Humane Society and funds raised are used to support the endangered mountain gorillas in the Congo)
- We are also the local drop-off point in our community for plastic bottle tops. These are collected and sent to Envision, where they are turned into prosthetic limbs for children!
Waiting for your vehicle? Our wonderful Guest Experience manager Diane will be more than happy to make you one of her amazing coffee’s and while you are enjoying your coffee………
We now have a book exchange operating in our waiting area! Our bookshelves contain pre-loved Books, DVDs and board games
These have been kindly donated to us so why not grab a board game and challenge someone to a game while you wait!
You are also more than welcome to take a book from our shelf, enjoy it while you wait and then take it home with you to read at your leisure!
If you have any pre-loved books, DVDs or games at home, you are more than welcome to pop in and donate them to us.
All excess books, DVDs and games are donated to local charities in our area.
We have introduced a weekly email, sent out to all our staff, that gives an environmental fact or tip to encourage all our staff to be more environmentally aware.
These are also shared on our Facebook page so why not join us on Facebook and have a look
